Why Choose Us
We recently had to buy some items from another stamp dealer on eBay. We were rather disappointed — and somewhat surprised — by the overall experience. Here's how we do things differently.
"PLEASE NOTE Proof of Posting is obtained for every package sent and I cannot be held liable for any lost packages. Should a package go missing I will send you the Proof of Posting Slip so that you can make a claim from Royal Mail."
— Typical eBay stamp dealer terms and conditions
Upon checkout we were confronted by the above terms. The seller is responsible for safe delivery — not the buyer. Anyway, we had no alternative in this case and went ahead. The item duly arrived 2nd Class (Blue Machin) in a flimsy envelope. Not particularly inspiring for a stamp collector.
Modern GB stamp collecting is going through rapid change. Are your usual dealers keeping up? Are they filling the gaps in your collection? The introduction of new Post and Go designs, overprints, and exhibition-only issues means there is always something new — and your dealer needs to be on top of it.
